Patentoid is here to make trademark registration easy, fast and simple. No need to spend days studying the relevant regulations. Just open the trademark registration form and follow our semi-automated trademark registration step-by-step process.
We will obtain the necessary information from you and arrange the registration of the trademark through our verified lawyers or patent attorneys specialising in this field.
A trademark is a mark consisting of words, letters, numerals, a colour, a drawing, or a product shape or packaging used by businesses to distinguish their product(s) or service(s) from others.
Your trademark is a symbol by which the customers recognise you. It distinguishes you from your competitors.
You can find out more in our article, which looks at what a trademark is in more detail.
It takes 1-2 weeks to submit a trademark registration application at the Industrial Property Office. The actual registration process at the Office usually takes 5-10 months. However, the validity of the trademark – priority – is marked by the date of the submission of the application. That is, if the mark is fully registered, its validity date will correspond to the date the application was submitted.
Yes, the Patentoid trademark registration fee includes the basic administrative fees for submitting the trademark application. Please refer to our pricing for more information.
If the trademark is approved by the Industrial Property Office, its validity is dated from the date of submission.
You are only entitled to use the ® symbol together with the trademark once the trademark has been fully registered at the Industrial Property Office.
Yes, you can use your mark (company or service name, logo, etc.) before submitting the application and throughout the registration period. However, your mark will only become a registered trademark after the registration process is complete.
The easiest thing you can do is fill out the trademark registration order form and we will guide you through the entire process. Please follow the predefined steps in the order form. The content of the application will be sent to you for approval before it is submitted to the Office.
Your trademark will be valid in the selected region(s) of registration. You can choose from the following list.
A trademark is essentially (intangible) property. It can therefore be owned by an association, a company or a private person.
Trademarks are valid for ten years from the date of application. Validity can be extended periodically by 10 years. You can order an extension here.
In the first step, we check the basic prerequisites for registration and carry out the proper research. This minimises the risk of application rejection.
In the event that, despite the above, the application is not approved by the Office, we will arrange for a verified lawyer or patent attorney to represent you in potential proceedings and do everything possible to help you complete the registration (this is a paid service).
There is no need for anything else as part of the application submission process. Our trademark registration package is a complete service with the trademark registered at the end of the process. That’s assuming there are no third-party objections and that the Office doesn’t reject the application. Objections are generally not a frequent occurrence.
But what can occur? Another company can be of the opinion that your mark is too similar to their trademark and can file an objection to the registration of your mark. In such case, you need to defend your mark, preferably by using a lawyer or patent attorney. We can also help you with that, but this is a paid service outside of the scope of the registration package.
The classes divide services and goods into 45 categories. Within each of these there is then a group of goods/services that are similar or related in some way (e.g., chemicals, machinery, clothing, advertising, or finance). Trademark owners usually take advantage of registering their products in 2-3 classes in which their trademark is then protected.
